Keoni's Big Question isn't worth finding just because of the delightful illustrations. It's not worth reading just because you're sick of the books you've been reading ten times a day for the last week. This is a book that tackles a big question, a question that theologians grapple with, and turns it into an answer that will change the next day. Patti Ogden gave my four-year-old food for thought when I read it to her recently. It gave me food for thought too!

"Last night my wife and I read "Keoni's BIG Question" to our children. Our oldest, Noah, who is four, really enjoyed it. It provided a wonderful opportunity to talk about how we can see God. We would like to thank you and those who are involved for pursuing the burden that God laid upon your heart to publish books that promote God's Word for the little children."
"Thank you! Our order of books have arrived and I am gettings calls and thank-you's for making the books available to the children of our assembly. God bless you and now there is an excitement for the coming books!"
"I just wanted to express my complete support for what you are doing. I see the power of a good story in conveying a serious message. It is wonderful that we can recommend and use your reading material."
"This is a beautiful book and the story is wonderful! I was pretty suprised when I read it because a lot of children's books are, quite frankly, bad! The writing out there doesn't seem to be that good anymore...but your story was a real pleasure to read!"
"Keoni is troubled by a question that it seems no one can answer, but when he asks his friend Old Fisherman his big question, he finally hears the answer he has been searching for! Yes! God can be seen, He is everywhere, He is plainly seen in His amazing creation and shines through in His people. A truly beautiful book! I loved it!"
Keoni's Big Question is a delightfully written story whose words are gentle and mesmerizing. One of the big questions that many children ask is: "Why can't I see God?" and Keoni's Big Question answers that perfectly. As Keoni struggles with this bewildering question, adults and children alike will enjoy and revel in the path that Keoni takes to finally find the answer - and what a marvelous answer it is.
With beautiful illustrations to go hand in hand with this down to earth and memorable story, Keoni's Big Question is truly a treasure to grace every family's bookshelf to be read over and over again, for years to come. When difficulities strike and things in life don't always make sense, Keoni's Big Question is the perfect way to sit down and remind ourselves that God is truly all around us and that is what is the most important.

Book Review by Childhood Of Dreams
I want to thank you for Keoni's Big Question. Itanswers a question which is often asked of Children's Ministers. I have used it several times in ministry and with my own grandchildren. After using it as the basis for a Children's Sermon, I received several phone calls from adults asking me where they could obtain their own copy. Last month I taught a class of potential Children's Ministers and used your book as an illustration of a good Christian book for children. Don't stop with this one! Blessings,

Upon reading the inspired writing of Patti Ogden, it is most obvious that the lady has a gift from above. In her style all children can feel comfortable and know that someone cares enough to tell the stories on their level. Shamgar And The Ox Goad is a powerful, intriguing and everlasting story which is told in such simplicity. I can very highly recommend this and other books written and compiled by Capstone Productions.
